Getting builders in to knock your house about is a stressful business. Many promise things and then let you down. These guys were superb ! Fast and very efficient - none of that disappearing to do other jobs, or waiting for equipment to arrive - impressively hardworking, and they made great efforts to keep the dust down and tidy up afterwards. And they kept the price down wherever they could. An excellent, tidy and fast job. It was actually good fun having these guys here. Keep them well watered with strong tea. And their preferred biscuits are chocolate Hobnobs! Highly recommended!

Once again faultless service from this superb family run garage. I needed some work carried out on one of my cars in a hurry & with very little notice, without fuss they ordered the parts & once I arrived everything was fitted & I was on my way in under 2 hours. If you want excellent work at a great price with good old fashioned customer service, then choose Pickwick Motor Works without delay. I really cant say enough about these guys they are awesome :)

Brilliant garage with very respectable prices and top quality service. Also a registered EBC Brake Pad dealer which is perfect for those with high performance road cars which are taken on the track! Would highly recommend and shall be back soon!

Thanks and appreciation to everyone at Crash for such an amazing job repairing the key damage to my Honda Jazz. The damage is now a distant memory, thanks to such a fantastic repair job. The quality of the work is absolutely amazing and Crash's technicians have done a top notch job. In addition to the work done, the administrative side of things was really easy - my insurance company were dealt with on my behalf, I had a lovely courtesy car to drive whilst mine was in for repair, and everyone I spoke to at the office was friendly, kind, helpful and always dealt with me with a smile. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to deal with Crash.

Great window cleaners. Good value; friendly team and fab customer service; super sparkly windows!

The AMac operatives have been cleaning for my house about 6 months. It’s a Victorian semi, windows with the small Georgian panes. AMac do all windows front and back, all the outer door glass and paint work plus the garden shed’s. The young men are polite, careful, energetic and try to be punctual ~ cleaning every six weeks. I have no problems with their results!

For various reasons I recently decided to convert from a standard PC to a laptop with a wireless connection to a printer, etc. SOS Computer Solutions not only checked thoroughly my requirements beforehand, but then provided options to meet those needs rather than a 'package' which a larger organisation might offer. This was handled quickly and professionally and with effective tuition. It may be early days as yet, but even at this point in time I am extremely happy with the outcome and would recommend anyone looking into upgrades or whatever to contact SOS for advice.

The communication and customer service i got from Anthony and Matt has been first class from start to finish. They didn't do anything to my car without explaining the process and talking me through the costings. Furthermore their turnaround time to completion was great. Corsham isnt a place short of decent garages but if you're unsure where to go these guys are a good bet, Clive

ES Electrical recently laid power to my garden office and shed. They had to lay a new power cable through a challenging route, fit lights and sockets. They have also undertaken work at one of my businesses. All I can say is excellent service at a good price and great workmanship. Highly recommended.

Great service! Hired a bouncy castle for my sons birthday yesterday! We had limited time to set up and pack down as was in village hall and a * were prompt at setting up and collecting! Brilliant Mortgage Adviser - Lauren Webb As part of the process of buying my first home I used Allen & Harris’ independent mortgage adviser, Lauren Webb. She was very enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. During our initial search, Lauren found a mortgage provider and rate that I was happy with. However, subsequently I looked for a more expensive property and increased my deposit, which changed my loan to value ratio. She double checked the mortgage results to ensure I had the best deal and was able to find a larger mortgage, with a smaller interest rate, which I was really pleased to hear about, as well as the £250 cash back that this provider offered! Lauren also took me through several different important aspects of buying a house, such as life insurance, buildings insurance and creating a monthly budget. She was able to explain this information clearly and then based on my responses, selected the most appropriate policy for me. On top of this, she helped with the price negotiation, saving me a couple of £k and was able to include some of the existing furniture within the price. Therefore, I would highly recommend using Lauren! Without her assistance, it would have certainly been a lot tougher, considerably more time consuming and I probably would have been financially worse off.

Had a bad experience with two of our previous cats at Garden, however it isn't one star as the rest of the time they did very well and we received good treatment when we had to unfortunately put down one of our siamese several years ago

Amazing service every time! After trying many different salons over the years I would literally not go anywhere else now. I have now been going to this salon for a few years now. Kirsty does an amazing job on my hair every time but if there was ever an occasion that she couldn't do my hair (which has never happened to date) I would still feel confident in another hair stylist within the salon to do my hair. They are all very competent and extremely good at their job. The atmosphere is always first class and uplifting, unlike some salons I have been to where sometimes you could cut a knife through it!

Greaat pet store and coffee shop in one.

This is so much more than a library -- there is a pool here, a tennis court, outside kids play area, big car park; and inside there are meeting rooms, huge rooms for gym or concerts, a cafe, a climbing wall and of course a library. It's a real community centre. I say "real" because so many places call themselves 'community centre' but offer so little. This is how it should be. For example, in nearby Chippenham there is a small library but nowhere for a freelance writer/PR consultant like me to sit and work (unless I fancy taking a kiddies table/chair). So I come to Corsham to work and later on I'll go for a swim and maybe even get a shot on the climbing wall. The place is packed -- adults looking for books and reading them; teens of every shape and size, plotting in the corners; and lots of families -- it's the ideal place for parents to leave their kids in the inside play area, which is in the library as there seems to be a teacher who's here to entertain them. I can't rate this place highly enough. It's an example for every small town -- a community centre with resources that people actually want, where you can park, leave your kids, have a swim, coffee, chat and read. Every small town should aspire to one; and seeing the name Wiltshire County Council plastered all over the place it's clear that they paid for all of this -- good for them. But it's also clear that they wouldn't have paid for it had a local team in Corsham applied for teh funding, put together and plan and lobbied like hell. The other thing I love about this library, where I'm currently working, is that there's no "SILENCE" rule and there is a constant soundtrack of high pitched kiddie screams -- and now they're all singing a song about crocodiles.

Wonderful attentive help with our move. Genuinely hard-working movers who made sure that everything was carefully packed and unpacked, rebuilt and double-checked. We were genuinely amazed at the speed of both packing and delivery and they made what can often be a really stressful situation into a breeze. The back office staff were also wonderful and ensured that everything was communicated efficiently. Brilliant service.

Doree Bonner were professional and caring from the initial survey through to the last box being offloaded. The quote was competitive with no hidden extras. Our possessions were handled with care, the crew were punctual, courteous and kept us updated throughout. They ensured we had the essentials set up in our new house before leaving. This was our 12th move and was the least stressful mainly thanks to Doree Bonner. Good value and I would have no hesitation in recommending their service.

UPDATE Still ordering and no problems as of late. Cheap and cheerful. Some times I feel slightly rushed to pay n leave. ? Maybe just me. Food used to be Tasteless but recently it's great. Don't order the mixed ordourves was rather tiny. and not worth it. Everything has MSG in it and you can tell. Eaten here about 10 -15 times as it's my local and I like to stick to same takeaway.

I am part of a BT group that regularly buy from Hong Kong House. Their range of meals are superb. Often coming up with new menu items. Their roast chicken in sauce with chips, or their salt n pepper chips or pepper / black bean sauce with chips and meat are absolutely superb. Always friendly, welcoming and best Chinese in the area. Thank you guys for your excellent meals.

Superb food. I travel from the other side of Chippenham to get my takeaways from here, as it really is that good. The waiting area is quite small, but has comfortable seats and a daily paper or two. I normally phone first, so I spend very little time waiting anyway. The only downside is that they don't take cards, so remember to go to the cash point before you arrive.

Always wonderfully understanding and helpful staff

So great to have found such a highly qualified and experienced vet who is dedicated to helping the animals holistically. Nick has a wonderful way with the animals and their humans, and has treated all our hairy family. With titre testing we were relieved to find that the dogs are not in need of re-vaccination, and with the medical checks we now know about a mild heart condition with one of the girls. The horses have responded fantastically well to their homeopathic remedies to such an extent that one has had no need for the steroids which were previously the only relief for a serious allergic reaction, and the other has come back into work with muscle tension diminished. Before examining the horses Nick wanted their full medical and emotional history, he treats the cause of any problems with natural remedies, but from a place of complete understanding of the requirements of the competition world and the drugs available to treat the symptoms. He works with our animals, with us, and with our local vets as a team. I very highly recommend Nick and the Holisticvet practice.

Nick is a real gem amongst vets... caring and intuitive. We travel 150 miles to ensure our dobes get continuity of care and an amazing service.

I’ve never purchased Windows before and so was very fussy about the *exact* style I wanted for my period (non listed) property. We wanted ones that look like wooden windows. We looked at about eight different “systems” (that’s DG industry jargon for “brand”). The two salesmen we spoke here were helpful and applied not one ounce of sales pressure (nothing makes me walk quicker) and the end product arrived pretty much spot on when they said it would. Ian the fitter and his assistant guy were great and I couldn’t fault. Whilst not “cheap” I can honestly say that we are really happy with how the windows look (Veka flush casement foiled finished- in case you were wondering) and the units are great quality. we will be ordering the next salvo of windows In 6 months time once these are winter tested. I don’t often leave reviews but wanted to emphasise how different this firm were to the (many many) others we could have used.
